The Terps might be on their bye, but there’s still plenty out there to read about them. Unfortunately, there’s not much to read on the Terps’ non-existent opponent this weekend, so everyone will have to bear with only Terps and ACC links. I know it’s tough, but if the few of us who read this blog all pull together *tears*, I think we can get through it.
Terp Links
- Jeff Barker of the Baltimore Sun sums up the Terps’ performance halfway through their season…
- Who was it that only two weeks ago said former Terp E.J. Henderson was ready to establish himself as one of the NFL’s top linebackers? Oops…
- Patrick Stevens of the Washington Times thinks that a ranked Demon Deacon team paying a visit to Byrd is actually a good thing for the Terps…
- David Steele of the Baltimore Sun says any calls to fire Ralph Friedgen are premature…
ACC Links
- Virginia receiver Kevin Ogletree, who torched the Terps for two tocuhdowns last Saturday, doesn’t like the term “possession receiver,” especially when it’s used to describe him…
- In a stunning development, Miami defensive coordinator Bill Young is actually taking responsibility (say what?) for the Hurricanes’ struggling defense…
- There’s just something about playing quarterback in Virginia. Following in the legacy of the Vick Brothers and Peter Lalich, Virginia Tech quarterback Ike Whitaker was suspended indefinitely last Thursday, and promptly proved his worthiness to return by getting arrested that very same night…
- Quarterback Chris Crane led Boston College to a 38-31 victory over North Carolina State last week, but his head coach still thinks his fifth-year signal-caller is a “rookie”…
- ESPN’s Heather Dinich makes her weekly ACC picks. Mercifully for her, she doesn’t have to guess which version of the Terps will show up this Saturday…

i think wake is over rated. I want to see Skinner go against our defense. lets just hope the defense from the Cal first half shows up. IF the defense from second half of the Cal game shows up. down goes maryland.
